Women are now treated with equality in our society and modern girls are now getting more career-oriented in their approach. This approach leads to a doubt in their minds about having a baby in this hectic schedule and growing age. Oocyte freezing is a technique in which young women (preferably before the age of 35 years) can undergo ovarian stimulation (hormonal injections) and the eggs (oocytes) can be retrieved and frozen. These eggs can be frozen for as many years as desired and once the woman is ready for marriage, made up her mind to have a baby after accomplishing success in career, these eggs can be fertilized with the sperm of the partner and the resulting embryo can be transferred to the uterus of the woman.

1. The patient has to undergo chemotherapy for some diagnosed cancer in any other parts of body.

2. History of premature ovarian failure in sibling or mother.

3. Decreased ovarian reserve diagnosed at a young age ( which holds true for unmarried girls as well).
